The Texas Certified
Investigator ("TCI") program was created in 1998 in an effort to
implement and advance the overall enhancement for the highest
investigative standards of knowledge, continuing education, and
maintenance of ethical and professional levels of conduct for
qualified individuals. In simpler terms, this means that taking the
step to become certified exemplifies that the individual is dedicated
to keeping the professionalism of this industry at the highest
standard. It also means that by writing a white paper, and passing the
oral and written exam, the individual has exhibited a high level of
competence in the investigative industry.
